BURES TOP BROTHERS POLL
Pavel and Valeri Bure are the brother combination most voters in a recent Fantasy Hockey Journal poll would want for their team. The Bures got 23 votes (or 37%) of the 62 votes in the poll which asked specifically "What brother combination (when healthy) would you most want for your team?"
Marian and Marcel Hossa received 14 votes (23%) while Sergei and Fedor Fedorov gained 14 votes (21%). This might be considered surprising, as until recently, the second brother in each pairing had spent the majority of the year in the minors.
Chris and Sean Pronger finished fourth in the voting with 5 votes (8%). Defenseman Chris Pronger has been sidelined for all of this season (to this point).
Paul and Steve Kariya got 3 votes (5%) and Keith and Wayne Primeau 2 (3%).
The brother combinations of Daniel and Henrik Sedin and Scott and Rob Niedermayer each received one vote or 2%. Brothers Tomas and Frantisek Kaberle (both defensemen) were also on the ballot but received no votes.
