Bibliography
WARRIORS OF WINTER The previously untold story of Snowmobile racing.
Bill Vint, Market Communications ISBN 0-930820-01-0
This difficult to find book
is the best history of our sport from its inception to 1977. It
is chock full of excellent stories and pictures of all the
machines and the people who raced them.
SKI-DOO Illustrated Buyers Guide.
Philip J. Mickelson, Motorbooks International ISBN 0-87938-871-4
If you're into Ski-Doo's I
can't recommend this book highly enough. Phil Mickelson was the
service manager for Ski-Doo's US operations for many years and
has driven most of the sleds featured in this page. Every
enthusiast's library should have one. It was invaluable for this
project and contains a wealth of information on all of Ski-Doo's
sleds from 1959 to 1995.
1980-1985 SNOWMOBILES Technical Specification Booklet.
Bombardier Inc. Part no.480
1199 00
A handy little pocket reference
book full of technical specs and Model numbers for all Ski-Doo's
from 1959 to 1985. I don't know if there are more current
editions available, check with your dealer.
Snowmobiler's RACE AND RALLY MAGAZINE
I am fortunate to have a reasonably complete collection of these great magazines.
